Hello Sisters!
I seem to leave theblessedmother as my last priority. I guess that is the RIGHT priority. I sometimes wonder how other moms hs, care for the family, cook, clean, be their husbands girlfriend and run a blog and message board and answer emails. I can't do that. It takes everything from me just to run the home, care for children, care for myself (exercising, bathing, flossing teeth, etc..) and then spend time with my husband.
Every Wednesday night for the next 6 weeks, Eric and I are going to a Positive Discipline class. We eat and read before the class, and after the class the class we park somewhere and make out. So, we look forward to our Wednesday date nights, plus we are encouraging ourselves in loving our children. :)
We are reading Battlefield of the Mind for Teens by Joyce Meyers. Really good book so far (we are only on chapter 3). I have been reminded that the battle is in MY brain. It's like satan on one shoulder and God on the other. They are both saying opposites things, yet we make the final decision. God doesn't make the decision, satan doesn't make the decision, WE MAKE THE DECISION of how we will act.

We need to purpose to FIX our mind on Him ALL DAY long. In between laundry loads, cleaning up smeared poop on the toilet and on the toddler, sweeping up broken glass, exercising (or trying too!), holding a baby, toddler and trying to listen to children explain why they can't get along. IN ALL THIS, we should PURPOSE to move our thoughts into the Spiritual realm. We are ABIDERS! We ALREADY have the VICTORY in Jesus, we HAVE MADE (intentional, on purpose)Him our DWELLING place. We do not come in and out. We do not leave and go when things get tough. We STAY with Him, we get in AGREEMENT with what He says! WOW!!!! We have a DADDY! We have a High Priest who has made the way for us! Yes and AMEN are His answer to us! :)
Well, it's time for me to help the girls make Lentil Tacos and sauteed vegetables for dinner. My mom is coming over to watch a movie with them, I think Cloudy with Meatballs, they said something like that.

Sounds like fun! Ha, ha. My hubby and I have been reading a book 'together' called, "The Forgotten God". It has been wonderful!!! Its always great when we do things together.
BTW, our son is doing GREAT!!! He's been off all tube feedings for the past two months!! He won't be able to get his g-tube out until around Aug. His speech is improving bit by bit and he has started acting like a little boy! (Previously he seemed to be in his own world). Thank you for asking about him.
